Hope you had a great day! Happy Monday, Happy Martin Luther King Day, Happy Inauguration and Happy Downloading. The recording stopped and I was able to play it back beautifully with my FLV player. Once I had downloaded the part of the Inaugural I was looking for I just right clicked on the recorded file in the Replay Media Catcher user interface and clicked on “cancel”. In the past I could open the deliverStreamingView.asx file with notepad and then use a software like Orbit downloader to download the file to my HD. When capturing the live streams on USTREAM you need to remember to stop Replay Media Catcher when you have downloaded the portion of the video you want, as live streams don’t have an ending the same way a recorded show does. But the only way I could do this was: Clicking the desired speed button -> getting deliverStreamingView.asx file -> opening with Windows Media Player -> Replay Media Catcher recognises the link. You can watch your progress right in the Replay Media Catcher user interface. Replay Media Catcher will start downloading the stream as soon as it starts playing. Try adding each of these content types to Replay Media Catcher's settings. Before performing these steps, check Replay Media Catchers debug log files for the following error: 'Failed to create certficate : Key not valid for use in specified state'. Change it back to 5 when dealing with the sites that respond correctly Or The site may be streaming FLV’s with a content type of content/unknown or unknown/unknown. If the above does not resolve the issue, its possible that there is a corrupted Cryptography provider on your system. You can use Replay Media Catcher to download USTREAM Video the same way you would download video from any other site – just open Replay Media Catcher, click on “start monitoring” and then go to uSTREAM and start playing the video you want to capture. Click Tools > Settings then expand HTTP Download Tweaks 2. And thanks to Replay Media Catcher I had the ability to download uStream video of the inauguration.
